Quincy is a small town (the only town, surrounded by forest, in Plumas County), but it packs a wallop of historical charm and outdoor adventure.

Snow shoed at Johnsville for the first time, what a great day! It's 30 min. from the Inn. Go toward Graeagle, turn tight at the sign that says Johnsville. You go over a bridge, turn right at the T intersection. Just before you get to Johnsville, you'll see cars parked to the right and a trail sign. It took me 1.5 hrs to slowly trek into the woods.
