We had a guest this weekend who was dealing with some family stress so we invited her to go visit our water feature. As she was leaving she thanked us for sharing our oasis with her. She said that spending some time outside listening to the running water and just soaking up the peace made her feel better equipped to deal with life's current challenges.

These photos are from our oasis last night! This can be a quiet place for reflecting or a fun boisterous place for friends to gather.

As you celebrate with your family and friends today I wanted to share a wonderful display here in town that some friends did. They spent hours and hours planning, shopping and implementing their "Victory Garden" in honor of our Veterans, their families and friends! If you get a chance, please drive by 2100 State and look down their side yard!

Welcome to Lighthouse Lane - this beautiful old home was an original farmhouse/homestead, built Pre-World War II. The house has been lovingly restored by the current owner and has been a work in progress for the previous 23 years. The house maintains a homey country feeling but also has an old world charm that incorporates Cape Cod accents as well.

​Lighthouse Lane is conveniently located and is just ten minutes away from many must-see historic locations, shopping, and great restaurants in Quincy. We are also less than a half-hour away from historic Hannibal, MO.
