Islandia Cottage is a furnished two bedroom vacation rental, located on the edge of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. It has a fully equipped kitchen and sleeps up to 8+ people. Situated on a small farm road on the edge of THE BIG BOTTOM, pastoral and mountain views stretch north across the valley and towards Mt. The first bedroom comes with a custom built queen sized bed. The second has a cust
om built bunk set with a full sized bottom and twin sized top. Beds and mattresses are brand new with new bedding. Additionally sleeping accommodations include a queen sofa bed and a queen air bed as well as two twin mattresses for sleeping on the floor or out on the deck. It is suggested that you bring your own bedding for the extra sleeping spaces. Full sized bath tub and shower. Towels are provided. Islandia Cottage is a work in progress, but currently there is access to riding trails, a 60 ft. round pen, and a 2 stall barn with paddock. Horse bedding is provided but guests must leave stalls/pens cleaned. There are plans for a two stall barn and 1 acre turn out adjacent to the cottage and a covered arena. Guests assume all responsibilities for their horses. For the horseman who wants to ride all day and spend their evenings in comfort, Islandia Cottage is a great solution. Venture out on your own with provided local trail maps, or hire Michel to take you out from the property on a guided trail ride.
