🏕️Rushmore Shadows is excited to announce that we will have Borrachos Food Truck at the resort on Friday evenings and some Saturdays from 4 pm-8 pm (or until sold out)!

🌮 Their main menu consists of Mexican/ Birria style entrees, but they will also be offering rotating menus throughout their time up here. Some of these menus include pasta night & a smash burger night!

📍Find them up here starting this Friday June 5th and Saturday June 6th! Skip cooking at your site and give them a big welcome to the park!

‼️ Don't forget! Decades Dance Friday 6-8pm (60's Theme) & Karaoke Saturday 6-10pm in the Black Elk Building!

Signup is at the front Desk. Wagon leaves at 5pm. Please bring a school supply item to participate, so we can help local schools.

🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day Weekend Campers! 🇺🇸

We would like to welcome everyone to a fun and safe holiday weekend here at Rushmore Shadows! As we enjoy time with family, friends, and our amazing camping community, we ask everyone to please help us keep the resort safe by following all park rules and being respectful of fellow campers and staff.

🚧 Reminder: The pool is still temporarily closed for repairs, but we are working hard and hope to have it open soon!

🎉 Be sure to check out all the weekend activities posted on the bulletin boards and at the front desk so you don’t miss out on the fun.

Happy Friday friends!

Rushmore Shadows would like to give a park update. The remaining sites that were closed will soon be reopening as electric and water service has now been restored.

A huge shoutout to our amazing staff and member Jerry Herman for operating the excavator and helping remove all the tree stumps — even the ones on the golf course! We are excited to announce that the golf course will be opening Memorial Day weekend, with a few minor repairs continuing throughout the season.

Another huge thank you to our wonderful members Don & Karen Mentele and Kevin & Leslie Morris for helping repair the swing set.

We are beyond thankful for the incredible staff and members who love this park just as much as we do. Your hard work, support, and dedication truly mean the world to us. We can’t wait to continue making great memories together this season at Rushmore Shadows

Rushmore Shadows is officially open for the 2026 season—we’re excited to welcome you back!

We wanted to share a quick update regarding our phone lines. If you’re trying to reach the front desk between 4:00–7:00 PM, please leave us a voicemail and we will return your call as soon as possible, as our phone system is currently experiencing some issues.


May 1st -4th 9-5

Then the regular following hours of operation below.

Store Hours:

* Sunday–Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* Tuesday–Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Starting the week before Memorial Day, Sunday and Monday hours will remain the same, and Tuesday–Saturday hours will be extended to 9:00 PM.

Thank you for your patience and understanding—we truly appreciate it and look forward to a great season ahead!
