Loft and building access is currently limited to the back alley entrance until road construction is completed.

Highway 281 construction is progressing!

While parking is currently unavailable along the road in front of the Cather Center, our front sidewalk and entry door remain open. Parking is available in the lot behind our building, accessible just south of 5th Avenue along Cedar Street. An accessible parking stall and paved walkways are available. You may also enter through the back door, and once inside, follow the signs to our welcome desk.

The "Villa Willa" loft apartment is now available on AirBnb! This 1886 historic building in Red Cloud, Nebraska was recently renovated. The ground floor contains the National Willa Cather Center, housing works and artifacts of the American author. The upper floor contains the 2-bedroom loft apartment.
