You push open the door and the whole room glows. Curved wood walls wrap around you, warm sconce light on either side of the bed, linen sheets turned down and waiting. This is the kind of room that makes you want to cancel your evening plans.

The pool becomes your soundtrack - still water, warm air, nowhere else to be - with the café tiki just steps away for a slow, farm-to-table breakfast whenever you’re ready for one.

Step outside to your own grotto, tucked into the grove, just for you -a private plunge pool ringed in stone, no sharing, no scheduling, just yours for the week.

Then golden hour hits, and the light turns amber and the whole day slows down - you catch the last of the sun, the grove going quiet, one more swim before dinner.

1) Private grottos with crystal-clear water.  “A pool would have been simpler.” Sure, and we’ll have one of those too. But imagine what it’ll feel like, floating in your own private hidden jungle pool.

2) A dry sauna AND a cold plunge, steps from your villa. “Pick one.” No. Contrast therapy is the whole point. You’re not choosing between hot and cold at Baya, you’re doing both, back to back, under the trees.

3) Chef-led dinners, under the stars, using what was picked that day. “That’s a lot of effort.” Maybe. It’s also the difference between a nice meal and one you’ll actually remember.

4) A private deck for every jungle villa. “A shared viewing area would do.” Sure, if you don’t mind sharing your stargazing spot. We’d rather you have your own place to meditate under the stars, no scheduling required.

5) Sound healing sessions. “That’s a bit much.” Lie under the canopy during one session and you’ll stop asking why we bothered.
