It is so beautiful up in Reed City. This town has lots to show and enjoy. There are shops, restaurants, bars and grills, a brewery, and depending on the time of year there is snowmobiling, cross country skiing, then in the summer there is hiking and biking. The White Pine Trail is 20 feet away and goes from Grand Rapids to Cadillac and it is all paved. Then there is The Pere Marquette State Trail is a multi-use path, running from Midland to Baldwin, with a section near Chase, MI, that connects to other trails like the White Pine Trail in Reed City. There is something to do all year long in Reed City.

Purple Heart Inn 💜 has 2 units to rent or you could rent both. During the months of February and March we are having rental specials. The upper unit is $110 a night and the lower unit is $160. Then starting in April fees/bookings will go through VRBO. If you are interested in both units feel free to DM me a message for rates.

The upper unit is 1 bedroom with a futon for added space. It has a kitchen, large living room and a breakfast nook area that overlooks the Hershey River. There is a small deck area with a table, chairs and a grill to use.

The lower unit has 2 bedrooms (1 on the main floor and the other is downstairs) with a bath and half, the dining room overlooks the Hersey River, and large living room upstairs and downstairs. There is access to a large deck with a fire pit and grill.

A perfect day to sit inside and watch the snowmobilers going by and enjoying the White Pine Trail and covered bridge. So, beautiful up here in Reed City. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars and a brewery to visit. If you need a place to stay while snowmobiling in Reed City. There is a upper unit with 1 bedroom and the lower unit has 2 bedrooms and located 20 feet off of the White Pine Trail which runs from Grand Rapids to Cadillac and also connect into the Pere Marquette State Trail. There is a spot to stop and warm up by the Reed City Depot.

For the next couple of months, we have reduced rates on our vacation rentals prior to listing it back on VRBO. If you have friends or family planning a visit or know snowmobile enthusiasts who will be in the area, please let us know if they need accommodations for a night or two. Our upper unit is equipped with one bedroom ($110 a night) and our lower unit ($160 a night) has two bedrooms with one and a half bathrooms, or we can offer a discounted rate for both units.

My recent weekend trip to Reed City was outstanding, with the town hosting various events suitable for all age groups. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Purple Heart Inn 💜 lower unit. Reed City is a delightful town, characterized by its friendly residents and excellent bike trails. Another beginning to a wonderful weekend. The trails, walks and biking you can do in Reed City with such beautiful scenery is amazing. A great stay just feet from access to all of these places is the Purple Heart Inn 💜.
