Rick Green will be teaching Sound 101 at Summer Wheat Music Camp!

Rick Green has been running sound since he was the quote- “AV geek” - in high school. Along the way, he has worked at The Ark in Ann Arbor for 18 years, helped out at numerous festivals, and has done some on-location recordings along with Mark Palms in Louisiana and Michigan. Rick has been a part of Dan Bracken's recording crew at Wheatland Music Festival for the past 10 years, but this will be his first time at Summer Wheat.

Michael Kinsey will be teaching All About Recording Sessions and a Recording Session at Summer Wheat Music Camp!

Michael is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer. He has 20 years of experience in the studio, recording everything from singer/songwriter to full bands. Michael plays guitar, banjo, mandolin and has recently taken up the lyre. He owns and operates Life Bread Productions. Michael will be teaching Recording 101 and hosting several recording sessions while at Summer Wheat.

Michael Dwyer will be teaching Drop in Tai Chi at Summer Wheat Music Camp!

Since 1998, Michael Dwyer has embraced Tai Chi Chuan to enhance health and wellness. As a passionate 7th generation disciple and certified instructor of International Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan, he teaches across Southeast Michigan and attends events nationwide to promote the transformative benefits of traditional Tai Chi.

Nicholas James Thomasma will be teaching Exploring the Harmonica, Living Songwriting, and The Business of Music at Summer Wheat Music Camp!

Traveling around in a bright orange 1973 Volkswagen Bus, singer-songwriter and Earthwork Music artist Nicholas James Thomasma combines stories and songs with humor and wit for a show that can be enjoyed by all ages. Whether he’s performing with his backing band, Nicholas James and the Bandwagon, or as a solo acoustic act, Nicholas charms the audience with his playful sense of humor and real-life stories. An award-winning songwriter, Nicholas is also the curator of a monthly songwriter in-the-round concert series called the Songtellers at the Midtown in Grand Rapids, MI, and is the Secretary for the Michigan Music Alliance.
