This is from the patio of the late wedding chapel at Wildflower Village, the birthplace of the Wildflower Comedy Hour comedy open mic, and several showcases and actual comedy shows.
The patio’s gone, as is the coffee shop, hostl rooms, galleries, studios and the most fascinating collection of folks you could hope to associate with. It’s a huge apartment complex now. Thanks to Pat Campbell for that moment in time.
I once heard that that nothing changes faster than the rate of change. The universe continues to change, whether I want it to or not. Where to next?

Norm here. Back in the day, I used to post announcements for the Wildflower Comedy Power Hour. Our beloved edifice has been long since flattened, hauled away and is being replaced by an apartment complex that no one can afford. I received a message advising that no one had posted on this page in a while. Really?

Yes, I have finally whimpered UNCLE. After 22 years, the Wildflower will be no longer. Closing date will be NOVEMBER 27

Stop by between now and November 27th to say goodbye and pick up that art piece from the Open Door Gallery that you have had your eye on for years!

Hours will be:
Open Door Gallery - Mon to Sat, 10am to 4 pm
Coffee Shop - every day 9:30am to noon
Chapel/Pub Gallery Sun. noon to 6 pm

All art will be discounted and EVERYTHING is for sale - furniture, beds, linens, building supplies and fixtures from rooms, gallery, pub, coffee shop and cabaret.

Unique, special and a haven, the Wildflower will be missed by many!
