Rose the highest base lodge skiing in Lake Tahoe at 8,900 feet. The ski season started early this year and there are 12 resorts within one hour of the A Frame. Reno boasts 40 golf courses within 30 miles of their international airport which is 15 minutes on a 4 lane highway from your front door. and in the summer time there is opportunity to trail ride or hike the high Sierras. The mountains to the east are the home of Virginia City the silver mother load of Nevada. This restored wild west town is a Tourist Mecca and boasts the only annual Camel Race Event in the northern hemisphere. Virginia City is about a 45 minute drive from the A Frame past the famous Mark Twain Steamboat Hot Springs at the bottom of the hill.
