As we reflect on what the holidays have looked like since moving to Pinecrest, we couldnā€™t help but think about what a great privilege it is to have guests share this beautiful place with us. Before the busy-ness of the holidays takes over, we thought it would be fun to host a couple of cozy craft weekends for our guests staying with us at Pinecrest! So we invite you to take a little escape to the Northwoods for a weekend of warm fires, holiday crafts, and creativity in the air ā€” with everything you need provided by us, of course šŸŒ²šŸ

You can spend some time foraging greens on a guided hike for wreath-making supplies, or dive into a variety of other seasonal crafts like orange slice garland, paper stars, hand-stamped gift tags, mini embroidery hoops, and more. Heck, even bring your own supplies and let your creativity shine! And donā€™t worry, weā€™ll have plenty of hot cider, coffee, and tea ready for you either way ā˜•ļøšŸ‚

the new āœØ wedding suite āœØ is taking shape here in the lodge! our 2024 couples and their wedding parties will be able to gather in this space as they get ready for their big day. with all the natural light, this is the perfect space for makeup artists + hair stylists to set up shop, a space for portraits + ā€˜getting readyā€™ photos with your photographer/videographer, drinking celebratory mimosas with your crew, or just a private place to retreat for a quiet moment before or after the ceremony.

fun fact: this lovely set of chairs were once a fixture in the cohodas estate in ishpeming. we love a little backstory on our vintage finds!

we canā€™t wait to share more with you as the wedding suite comes together. t-58 days til our first wedding of the season!

the nestāœØ glamp your hearts out.

nestled in a white pine forest along the trails at pinecrest northwoods sits this cozy bell tent glampsite.

the nest is furnished with a comfy queen size bed, linens, some camp kitchen essentials and a few games to play by lantern light.

make your morning coffee in a percolator over the campfire, swing in the hammock, enjoy paddling the kayaks and standup paddleboards on the lake, fish in the michigamme river, soak up some sunshine and take in a little fresh air.

our amazing friends captured these photos last weekā€¦ we are smitten and canā€™t wait to share this glampsite with more guests!
