Here is our cabin availability for the month of September. The air is clean and temperatures are moderate as we head into fall and what is my favorite season. A lot of you had to cancel your August reservations because of the smoke so here is your chance for a getaway to relax in the wonderful solitude with warm days and cooling temperatures at night. Cast a line in peace or just sit and admire the sunrise and sunsets as everything slows down, you can also bring the clubs and enjoy a round at the nearby Short Game Gold Course. AND, importantly, take advantage of our discounted off-season cabin rates!

The Shack is open today rain or shine and it looks like the temperature will be lower so the crew will be much more comfortable, we can all appreciate that.

Good Saturday everyone! The Shack will be open today and we will be serving up our Friday Fish, Shrimp and Chowder special. Who knows what the weather may bring but remember we can provide to-go orders as well. The only thing that might slow us down is the heat.

Good Thursday morning, everyone. It is that time of year when kids have gone back to school and coupled with the smoky air there has been a substantial decrease in Snack Shack patronage. We have therefore decided to scale back to our Friday through Sunday schedule, we can't run it for free, unfortunarely.

We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you here on those days!

This is a shout out to one of our very favorite "Cove" family groups, the Higgins Family who were here last week for their annual vacation but also to celebrate their 25 Year Anniversary of allowing us to share their special times with them. Now, these folks are hardy but so kind and they have graciously watched and cheered on all of the "Cove" renovations over the past quarter-century. Yes, the resort was still pretty rough back then (but at least every cabin finally had a bathroom) and I think we had done our first cabin color change from the 1969 mud brown and turquoise motif to what we lovingly referred to as our "Southwest Theme" which was the best we could do with donated white paint from the Monroe Prison...yes, there is a story there.

They were here in 2015 when the fires were at their worst and managed to get in a quick wedding, some music and food and then we had to chase them out because the fires were reported to be heading to the south of town and it was TIME TO GO. We had to shut down the resort for 3 weeks after that because the air was so toxic. But again, these folks were so kind and understanding and we love them so much for that.

A generation has been raised and new little ones are coming to start their Fisherman's Cove history with us and we are so blessed to have this wonderful family honor us with their continued patronage. The "Cove" has many families like this, some coming for more than 60 years and we share our love and gratitude with you all. Blessed be!
