Gwendolyn Duncan started Cordially Yours Travel as a woman owned business in 1993.Gwen believes that education and experience are the best tools for success as a business woman in the ever changing travel industry. Besides being well traveled, she is proud to have earned the tag of CTC (Certified Travel Counselor). This distinction comes from hard work in the industry over at least a five-year (5)
period, and an academic requirement program through the Institute of Certified Travel Agents. Following extensive training and cruise experience Gwen earned an ACC (Accredited Cruise Counselor) advancing to an MCC (Master Cruise Counselor). She has exceeded the minimum cruise requirements by sailing or having on-board ship experience on over 80 vessels, enhancing her abilities as a competent cruise counselor. My responsibility is to match the right ship with the right client". Small to large, adventure to luxury, meeting the challenge of diversity and helping clients in realizing their dream vacation is why she enjoys selling travel. Gwen's personal experience through past employment opportunities enables her to assist people at the highest service level. Working in the past as an escrow officer, personnel manager, customer service director and trainer, and as the administrative assistant to an elected official, has given Gwen well-rounded experience. This has helped her tremendously in working with her clients and dealing with the vast array of travel issues. One of her strengths is an ability to solve problems and reach win-win solutions, making for 'happy campers' with all aspects of the industry.
