We offer short term rental of our house for a price more affordable than most hotels! The Andersen House is a place for families and friends to gather. It is a walk back in time with simple, functional and comfortable furnishings. The Mark Andersen family was established in 1983. Mark and I (Laurie) both attended Ricks College and our first home was in Rexburg before moving to Missoula, Montana to
continue college at the University of Montana. Mark began a career in the Foreign Service in 1985 which took our family all over the world. Every summer we took vacations and it was difficult to find accommodations for a family of 6 that was comfortable and affordable. We had no idea where life would lead us and that one day we would end up returning to Rexburg, Idaho. It is a long time goal of ours to make the Andersen House available for short term rental. We hope that you will appreciate the warm atmosphere that exists in our home the moment you walk in. We have had many events in this home with our friends and family. This is the only home we have owned where all of our children have lived. It carries many happy memories for all of us. We hope that you will also be able to create happy memories here with your family and friends each time you stay. We offer clean, spacious accommodations at an affordable price. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen (equipped with basic kitchenware), dining room, and living room. Outside there is a small deck and patio area for eating/entertaining. We provide internet, board games, a few books for reading and a television with old DVD’s and videos for use by our guests. Our location just one block from campus and one block from Main Street can’t be beat if you are attending activities at BYU Idaho or downtown Rexburg. We know parking can be an issue for out of town guests at the college and around town. Your stay at the Andersen House provides you the convenience of walking to events without having to spend extra time finding a parking spot or fighting traffic. We love the city of Rexburg and we are sure you will too. It truly is a great place for families and friends to gather and celebrate life!
