Step into a weekend of remembrance, culture, and community at Gasconade Hills Resort during our Trail of Tears Commemoration, September 18–19.

Our campground is deeply embedded in this history. Gasconade Hills Resort put in is referenced in the journals as Stark Crossing, making this more than just an event—it’s an opportunity to gather in a place connected to the story of the Trail of Tears.

Join us for a Native American dance demonstration, an evening of Native American storytelling around the campfire presented by the American Indian Center of Springfield, and a float fundraiser supporting their mission, It’s a meaningful opportunity to learn, reflect, and honor history while enjoying the beauty of the Missouri outdoors.

Our pizza is so good, it attracts all kinds of customers… including the occasional moth.

This little guy clearly caught a whiff of Hunt Brothers Pizza and came in for a closer look. We can’t blame him—loaded toppings, melty cheese, and a hot pizza waiting after a day on the river is hard to resist.

Grab one before your float, order it for an easy meal after your float, or swing by anytime for pickup. Just don’t wait too long—the moths may beat you to it! 😄
