Looking for a picture-perfect lakeside getaway? This Great Lakes State campground is for you. Located off US 31, this KOA provides the perfect escape into nature. Start your morning off right with a walk around the campground's peaceful forest trail. Rent a paddle boat, canoe, or kayak and head out one of the campground's two private lakes, or grab the fishing pole and see what you catch!

The town this KOA's named after is just a short drive away. Known as the "Riviera of the Midwest" this charming locale is right on the banks of Lake Michigan. Well-known for fishing and boating, this charming little city is absolutely worth exploring during your stay. Unforgettable Memories, New Friends, and Big Suds: A Weekend to Remember! 🫧❤️

What a weekend at the grounds! While every weekend brings its own magic, this past one was extra special. We opened our gates and welcomed so many new non-camper guests from our surrounding community to join in on the excitement, and our hearts are completely full.

If there is one thing that lies at the very core of the camping world, it’s community. Camping has a beautiful way of breaking down walls, bringing people together, and turning complete strangers into lifelong friends. Seeing our local neighbors playing alongside our overnight campers, sharing laughs, and making memories together was a powerful reminder of why we love what we do.

The highlight of it all? Watching everyone dive headfirst into our high-energy Foam Party! There is something truly magical (and hilarious!) about seeing kids and adults alike abandon all hesitation, jump into a giant mountain of suds, and get completely soaked in foam.

It was a true testament to the power of trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone.

Sometimes, the best adventures happen when you venture out to new places, try an activity you’ve never done before, and open yourself up to new experiences. You come for a fun afternoon, but you leave with:

New friendships made around the grounds and in the suds

New favorite traditions for your family

Unstoppable laughter and stories you’ll tell for years to come

To everyone who spent their weekend with us—whether you pitched a tent, parked an RV, or just drove in for the day to join the fun—thank you for making our community so vibrant and welcoming.

💡 Instant Lantern: Strap a headlamp facing inward around a jug of water for a soft, ambient tent light.
👟 Keep Organized: Hang an over-the-door shoe organizer inside your tent or canopy to store bug spray, flashlights, sunblock, and utensils right at eye level.
🧊 Double-Duty Coolers: Freeze water bottles before packing. They keep your food cold like ice packs, and as they melt, you’ll have crisp, ice-cold drinking water ready to go!
