The daffodils are back! Come enjoy early spring at Swanendele Inn's weekly Thursday social. It starts at 5 pm to whenever, and it is open to friends, neighbors, and the community at-large.

We offer a cash bar and light, complimentary bar snacks in the lovely Seahawk Bar & Lounge.

Last week, we had a great turnout and lots of lively conversation. No RSVP required unless your group wants to order the appetizer sampler. That requires advance notice, preferably 24 hours.

Update on Thursday night social at Swanendele Inn, Ridge MD... We will continue to make the Seahawk Bar & Lounge open to the community, from 5 pm until whenever. However, we are suspending the appetizer plate for the time being. We suspect that in today's economy, the $25 price for the heavy appetizers and first bar beverage is more than people are willing to absorb.

We will continue to provide bar service and the usual free bar snacks, and we invite you to come for a beverage with your friends, neighbors and potentially, new friends. No RSVP is required but always appreciated.

However, in the future, if a group of people asks in advance, we can produce Chef Miguel's fabulous appetizer plate. Just give us a call or text 850-570-3332.

One of the joys of living in Southern St. Mary's County, MD is the abundance of water sports... kayaking, swimming, sailing AND fishing. We have several local charter boat captains who know the best fishing spots AND offer scenic or historical cruises. One of them is Captain Gary Sacks, who lives just a few miles from Swanendele Inn. Here are two of our guests with their catch aboard Captain Gary's boat Ma**ca II!

Batman has arrived… but instead of fighting crime, this 1-year-old Hound hero is on a mission to steal hearts and locate the coziest couch in the city. His superpowers include backyard zoomies, advanced sniff-detection technology, and expert-level evening snuggles.

By day, he patrols the yard for suspicious squirrels. By night, he transforms into a professional cuddle crusader.

Batman is currently searching for his forever Batcave with a yard to romp in and a human sidekick to relax with after a long day of heroic adventures.

No cape required… just treats. 🦴🦇
