Maxwell Peters
Maxwell Peters co-founded Hotel Bar Pictures in November 2012. Having grown up around the entertainment industry and tailoring his prior work experience in entertainment related fields, he brings a diverse background to his role as a managing partner of Hotel Bar Pictures. Maxwell got his start in the entertainment industry as an intern in the casting and talent relations department for Nickelodeon, assisting the east coast casting for the original series How To Rock as well as other live action and animated series. Upon graduation Maxwell moved out to Los Angeles to work for The Disney Channel in their casting and talent relations department as an assistant. While at the Disney Channel he oversaw the day-to-day management of Disney’s large talent roster and casting for all of The Disney Channel and Disney XD’s original movies and series including Girl Meets World and The Wizards of Waverly Place Reunion Special. Maxwell's background encompasses many different aspects of the entertainment industry, including acting in numerous theatre productions, feature films, and even as a principal in a national Ford commercial to shooting concert photography for some of the biggest names in country & pop music. Johan T. Anderson co-founded Hotel Bar Pictures in November 2012. He was born and raised in the Midwest and has been writing and directing films for over 8 years. Johan graduated from the prestigious BFA Film program at Emerson College in Boston, MA. He got his start in the entertainment industry surrounded by the inventive directors and talented producers at Partizan Entertainment in Los Angeles. While In Los Angeles he worked on commercial and music video productions that lead the industry in style and creativity. In the summer of 2012, Johan moved to New York City to direct commercials, music videos and films. Aside from directing, he also has two feature film scripts he is currently developing for production. Johan's short films have been screened in the Midwest, East Coast and in Europe. His most recent short film, Foreign, was selected to screen at the world-famous Cannes Film Festival in May 2012. He also wrote and directed a short film set and produced in Minnesota entitled, Debutants, which is going to be entering the festival circuit in 2013. Johan's work is inspired by great American authors like F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway.
