Quick update on Illinois Lane Lodge: we’re working toward welcoming guests this fall, but there is one important project first—a well. The cabin does not currently have a running water source, so getting a reliable well installed is our top priority before we open for bookings. We’re excited to keep bringing this mountain cabin to life and will share updates as the work moves forward.

A little family news…

We have fallen in love with welcoming guests to Ridgway, and our family has decided to add a second place for people to enjoy.

Meet Illinois Lane Lodge, a more remote and tucked-away cabin experience on the mountain where I grew up. These are the same woods and trails where I walked as a kid chewing sassafras leaves, and the same ridges and pines where I chased my first deer. Now, I get to share those memories and make new ones with my three boys.

Set high in the woods above the ghost towns of Whistletown and the The Stone Quarry, Illinois Lane Lodge offers quiet mornings on the porch, mist in the trees, fires under the stars, and a real chance to unplug. Its stone hearth, warm timber ceilings, wood stove, loft sleeping space, and private fire-pit area make it a natural fit for couples, small families, hikers, hunters, and anyone craving room to breathe.

Less than 3 miles from downtown Ridgway, but worlds away. We are excited to share this special place with you.
