Why pay more for a judge leaving office, When you can stay with us!

Cameron County commissioners are scheduled to consider new fee schedules for RV sites and beach access during their August 4th meeting.

The RV fee proposal would apply to Isla Blanca Park and Andy Bowie Park. A separate beach-user fee schedule would cover Isla Blanca Park, Andy Bowie Park, E.K. Atwood Park/Beach Access No. 5, Beach Access No. 3 and Beach Access No. 6.
Both fee schedules would take effect October 1, 2026, if approved. The agenda does not include the proposed prices, the current-versus-new rate comparison, or details explaining the changes. The supporting agenda packet had not been posted for us to review.

As usual we will keep you updated with any updates.

The Commissioners Court meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, at 9:30 a.m.
