🔐❤️ A new chapter for the Jail Break Inn! 🏨

Hi everyone! We’re the Burke Family, and we’re so excited to introduce ourselves as the new owners of the Jail Break Inn!

We live right here in Ripley, and we’ve really come to love the small-town charm, history, and character that make this community so special. We also believe Ripley has a lot of potential, especially with the right investments and people who care about its future — and we wanted to be a part of that.

When the opportunity to take on the Jail Break Inn came along, it just felt like the perfect way to combine our love for this town with something fun and unique. We’re excited to carry on what the previous owners created while putting a little bit of our own personality into the Jail Break Inn along the way!

Our goal is simple: keep the Jail Break Inn a fun, memorable place for people to visit Ripley, explore the area, and make some great memories.

So if you’ve ever wanted to say you spent the night in jail… 😉🔐 now’s your chance!

We’d love your help as we get started. Please book a stay, follow along, share our page, and most importantly, leave us a review after your visit! Every booking and every review means a lot as we build this next chapter.

We’re excited to be here, excited about Ripley, and excited to see where this adventure takes us.

Welcome to the next chapter of the Jail Break Inn! ❤️🔐

Not sad... bittersweet. ❤️

Today, we officially sold the Jail Break Inn! 🔐🏨

I’ll be honest, saying goodbye is a little bittersweet. We set out to create something completely unique in Ripley, Ohio, and I can’t tell you how many people told me it would never work. That no one would want to stay in a jail. That no one would use it.

Well... we proved them wrong. 😉

For years, the Jail Break Inn was booked so consistently that we went entire years without a single weekend vacancy. We welcomed guests from near and far, created some unforgettable memories, and even had the incredible honor of being named Best of the Best Place to Stay by Cincy Magazine.

What started as an idea that many thought would never work became something we were incredibly proud of.

And now, it’s time for the next chapter.

We are SO excited for the new owners and thrilled to announce that the Jail Break Inn will continue on as an Airbnb! 🎉 I truly hope you’ll continue to follow this page, support them, and watch as they begin their own journey with this one-of-a-kind property.

As for us...

What’s next? 👀

You’re going to have to follow Augusta Hospitality Co. to find out! 😉

Thank you to every guest who stayed with us, shared a review, told a friend, took a picture, tagged us, or simply followed along over the years. You helped turn a crazy idea into a very real success story, and we are forever grateful.

Here’s to new owners, new adventures, and the next chapter! ❤️🔐

11 straight quarters as a Superhost! ✨

We’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve maintained Airbnb Superhost status for 11 consecutive quarters—and it’s something we never take for granted.

So, what does being a Superhost mean? It’s a designation given to hosts who consistently provide outstanding hospitality. It’s based on things like exceptional guest reviews, quick and reliable communication, a strong booking record, and a commitment to going above and beyond for every guest who walks through our doors.

For us, this isn’t just a badge—it’s a promise.

At Jail Break Inn, maintaining Superhost status means we’re delivering the kind of experience we’d want ourselves: clean, comfortable spaces, thoughtful details, and genuine care for every guest’s stay. It means paying attention to the little things, responding quickly, and always striving to exceed expectations.

To all of our amazing guests—thank you. Your kind reviews and continued support make this possible, and we’re so grateful to be part of your travels. ❤️

Here’s to continuing the standard.
