⚾️🥎Exciting News!🥎⚾️HELP SPREAD THE WORD!

Rising Sun Main Street is partnering with Rising Sun Summer League to host the first annual Rising Sun Opening Day Parade!
This will take place on April 25 starting with the parade at 9:30am. All teams will be encouraged to enter a float (truck, golf cart, wagon) to participate in this event. Coaches, Jamie Works will have more specific information about this at the upcoming coaches meeting.
Following the parade, the teams will convene down at the riverfront and rally for “float votes”. Patrons, parents, family members, etc will vote for their favorite team float and the winning team will have a banner to hang at the ball park all summer long! All funds raised will benefit the little league.
When the float voting closes, families are encouraged to visit Rising Sun Main Street businesses for lunches or snacks-- or pack a picnic lunch to eat riverside! There will be a swap booth for families to leave outgrown equipment or take equipment that they need!
After the riverfront activities have ended, athletes and families are will travel to the baseball and softball fields to have an afternoon of field fun. Wiffle ball games and homerun derbys are on the list of events.
To help promote this event, Quick Sports has an online t-shirt shop for supporters to purchase and wear! A percentage of each shirt will benefit the league.
