Would like to donate some funds to the MDA to get a study started on Firefighters and ALS. It's not going to help Steven Diehl but there are so many more Firefighters just like Steven fighting ALS right now. We need a cure we need to have ALS as a work related illness. Until I'm proven wrong I will believe Steve's ALS was caused by him being a Firefighter for 31 years. 25 years as a hazmat tech. Then there is the 2 times he became hypoxic. Once he had hypothermia. His fight is over but my fight isn't over.

Good afternoon all,

As most have heard, we are hosting a fundraising event for our brother retired FF/PM Steve Diehl on Thursday June 1st (gold shift). This fundraiser is being held to help assist Steve and his family with medical expenses in the future. Unfortunately due to the ALS complications, Steve has already informed us that he won't be able to make it up north for the event; however, that doesn't mean we can't still show our support after Steve gave 30+ years to the district. I have the tickets with me at all times right now for purchase. We have 100 available at this time with the option to buy more. Each ticket is $15 if you buy it in person, or Tyler has a PayPal link you can use and the tickets will be $16 on there due to a processing fee from PayPal. We are expecting a large turnout from our members. Who doesn't love some baseball, cheap beer and hotdogs, and showing support for a brother of ours? Thanks everyone, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask either Andrew or I. I look forward to seeing you at the game.

Hello my name is Jeremiah I'm a Life scout with Rochelle BSA troop 553. I'm working on my eagle scout project at the Rochelle food pantry I'm looking for donations for my eagle scout project. What the Rochelle food pantry needs is.....
Personal hygiene products, and cold meds.
So shampoos and conditioners
Liquid body soap (no bars)
Mixi pads, tampons
Deodorant for males and female.
Shaving cream, razors, Tylenol or equivalent, motrin or equivalent, cough drops, cough meds, flu meds, allergy meds, bandaids, and first aid stuff.
Drop off will be Dec. 19th from 9-11am Ogle/Lee Fire Creaton station 1-3 at the Ogle/Lee Fire Hillcrest station.. In the parking lots.Stuff can come from the Dollar store.

Today was the last day of Scout Adventure camp. The camp now has new owners. It's a sad day.
