Buying this campground was the best thing we ever did 5 years ago. It allows us to be creative, excersise without it being mundane, swim/float and connect with each other and fall into bed at the end of the day grateful & that good kind of tired that only fresh air and sunshine can create. Summer is going by way to fast for us!

100s of butterflies in our beautiful flowers this year!

Our goal was to plant tons of seeds everywhere and to sell fresh bouquets of flowers this summer. I'm struggling to accomplish that! We just love looking and enjoying them! Now add the amazing displays and all the varieties of the hundreds of butterflies and it makes it even harder to cut the flowers.

Tomorrow is the big day!
Probably will be.....
Most likely we will do it....
We'll see. ....

UPDATE: DIXIE WAS JUST FOUND! Her owner had to leave this morning ( truck driver) and was already in Sioux City. But he has a uncle from Bellevue /
Omaha area and he will come to campground today after work. Dixies other is taking a load to Washington and on his way back to Florida with a load , he will pick Dixie up fro. Uncle's house. Took the work of the towns people all looking and 4 women who had a hand in it this morning Karen from up the hill(owner of motels and gas station) Suzanne Fentiman Quin Hughes and myself. Dixie is fully fed and has all the nice cold water she wants and a place to rest today until she gets picked up. It's a great day! Pictures in comments.

Keep an eye out for Dixie. :( Dixie got loose yesterday July 13th up the hill at the gas stations exit 110 Rock Port Mo. Her dad is a truck driver who needs to get back on the road this morning due to work responsibilities. Dixies dad came down this morning calling for her to no avail. He took the golf cart and drove around the whole perimeter of the campground a few times calling her name. We were hopeful she would hear his voice and come running.

Please keep your eyes peeled for Dixie. Dixies dad is very distraught at the thought of leaving her behind.

Dixie is a 5/6 year old female and friendly. She is black and white. If you happen to see her, call her name in a sing songy higher pitch tone and she'll probably come right to you. Feel free to bring her to the campground if you find her as we have the owners information.

Thanks for helping to keep your eyes out for Dixie. She's the one in the middle of the 2nd picture.

Want to get great BBQ! COME ON OUT! It's delicious!! We had the burnt ends and hot crispy onion rings!

The 1st red building is full of treasures and all the vendors and food trucks are at the back and ready to help you!
