Located on Hwy 101 just north of Rockaway Beach, Kelly's Brighton Marina offers RV parking, tent camping, kayaking, fishing, and the best crabbing on the Oregon Coast. From one of our 15' rental boat or from our 250' of dock space, you can catch your own dinner and consume it here if you wish. Not feeling so industrious? We have live tanks stocked with crabs, clams and oysters that we can cook up fresh and dinner is yours in no time! Another Crab Derby in the books!
As we were cleaning up this morning and getting everything back to ‘race ready’ for the upcoming season, first time crabbers Alyssa and Jenna from Florida were our first rental boat of the morning! - we sent our employee Wyatt out to make sure they felt comfortable driving the boat on the outgoing tide; after a few minutes they dropped him off at the dock and 2 hours later they came back with 4 keepers!!! You ladies rock!
Yesterday was amazing, and we can’t thank you all enough for showing up and supporting our annual fundraiser for two stellar local charities! As we sort through all of the cool pictures and videos from the day we’ll be posting more this week!

Spring has sprung and it’s starting to feel like Summer! Who’s coming to the Crab Derby ONE WEEK from today?

The annual Nehalem Bay Crab Derby is a fundraiser for two amazing local charities; the MuddNick Foundation and Animal Haven by the Sea. We’ll have vendors, food, fun activities and contests for adults and kids, and a live band playing to watch the sunset.

We will be releasing 26 tagged crab at 9AM, and if you purchase a Crab Derby ticket in our store, and catch a tagged crab, you will be entered into the grand prize drawing of $1,000.

It’s always such a great day, and the whole awesome crew at Kelly’s is stoked to put on this great event!!!
