Today we placed a plaque in memory of our founder, Norm Weitzel in the Friends of Veterans Memorial Circle flower bed we planted a few weeks ago, and also met Helen and Ernie who started this organization to honor our veterans.

First time Planting one of the 24 sidewalk plots on the Auburn Street corridor to Friends of Veterans Memorial Circle

Veterans Memorial Circle in honor to our founder.
The Beautification of Veteran's Memorial Circle is the biggest Volunteer-driven Beautification project in Rockford, and the city's biggest community service project. It's also one of the largest veterans-appreciation projects in the Midwest.
to honor our veterans and military families by planting thousands of flowers around the roundabout.
Special thank you Amanda Gore for the initiative on be part of this amazing project.
