The rockland breakwater lighthouse and the end of the rockland breakwater just as the shadows start to get long and the light gets warm.personally I’ve always thought that top down is a really neat viewpoint.

As we look ahead to 2026, I wanted to share a change we'll be making. When we first set up the house in 2013, we had little boys who loved bunkbeds. And since we were planning a very family-friendly space, our bunk room made tons of sense. For sure, over the years, we've hosted lots of enthusiastic families and have loved every minute of it. It's hard to believe, but we now have boys who are (nearly) 17 and 19. They've outgrown the bunks and would rather have more headroom and a desk where they can sit with a laptop. Because of that, during our summer stay this year, we'll be converting the bunkroom to two twin beds and a small desk. This will reduce our total capacity to six people.

I'm sorry if this will disappoint anyone! We're just growing up and the house must grow with us. On the upside, older guests will have a little more space and flexibility. ❤️

If you want to stay with us before the change happens, we have availability in April, May, and early June! Hit me up.
