There's fun to be had in Rockport for the holidays!
Rockport Lights Up the Coast
Rockport Parks and Recreation, the Rockport Cultural Arts District (RCAD), other venues along with the Rockport-Fulton Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) are ready to skate into the holiday season with the return of the Rockport Tropical Christmas Festival, Christmas on the Beach, and the addition of Christmas in the District celebrations — brighter, bigger, and more festive than ever before! From November 21, 2025, through January 5, 2026, Rockport will transform into a holiday wonderland filled with lights, music, an ice rink, and community spirit.
The Rockport-Fulton CVB is working to share the message far and wide — Rockport is the place to visit this holiday season! Soon, the city will sparkle as a Coastal Christmas destination, blending hometown warmth with seaside charm and the tropical flair that makes Rockport truly unique.
A Season of Light, Music, and Community Building on the success of previous years, RCAD is expanding its seasonal displays throughout the Downtown District, creating a magical atmosphere that invites residents and visitors alike to stroll, shop, and celebrate the holidays together.
With the support of local businesses, sponsors, and community partners, the enhanced holiday programming complements other beloved seasonal events, including:
• Shop Small Weekend – November 29 @ Downtown Rockport
• City of Rockport Tropical Christmas Festival
* December 5 @ 7:00 p.m. – Rockport Beach Park Road
(Illuminated Night Parade, Tree Lighting, LED Night Kites, Children’s Art Contest Winner Announcement, and Fireworks)
* December 6 @ 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. – Festival Grounds at Rockport Harbor (Vendors, Entertainment, Ornament-Making Workshop, Santa Pics, and more)
• Christmas on the Beach – December 7–January 2 @ Rockport Beach Park Road
• Ice Rink – December 7–28 @ Downtown Rockport
• Victorian Christmas at the Fulton Mansion – December 11 @ 6:00–9:00 p.m.
• Wreaths Across America December 13 @ 11:00 a.m. | Veterans Memorial Park
• Cookies, Cocoa & Carols (Parks & Recreation) – December 13 @ 12:00 p.m. | Celebration Plaza
• City of Rockport Christmas in the Plaza – December 19 (watch for more details)
• A Charlie Brown Christmas (Rockport Little Theatre) – December 12–14 & 19–21 (see website for showtimes)
