As you enter, you’re greeted by a completely redecorated mudroom — a warm, beautifully finished space where guests can store boots, coats, skis, or hiking gear. It’s the perfect transition between the outdoors and the peaceful elegance of the living area, setting the tone for a stay that blends Maine tradition with modern comfort. Guests are kindly encouraged to remove all shoes, boots, and footwear and leave them in the mudroom to help keep the house impeccably clean.

The upper-level suite features a bright living room with fireplace, rich wood floors, and curated coastal art. Two completely separate bedrooms — one in calming green tones, the other in deep, restful brown — each feature queen-size four-poster beds and a serene, private ambiance. The bedrooms are separated by approximately 25 feet of space, providing total privacy for two couples or individuals traveling together.

Guests consistently describe the bedding as “one of the most comfortable sleep experiences we’ve ever had.” Each bed features a premium-quality mattress, soft feather-down mattress cover, and luxurious bamboo sheets that create a smooth, silk-like feel. The result is deep, restorative rest — a level of comfort rarely found even in top-tier hotels.

The bathroom continues the same standard of excellence, featuring a high-tech design that guests frequently call “unlike anything else in the area.” The shower is spacious, modern, and equipped with multiple spray options — an uncommon luxury that has become a highlight in many guest reviews.
