Very Sorry, Folks 😅

Well… turns out the saying is true: “If you groom it, they will come.” And wow, did you all show up!
Unfortunately, we may have been slightly unprepared for just how many of you awesome humans would roll in. The kitchen is officially closed… because we’ve run out of pretty much everything. And yes—even plates. That’s a new one for us. 🍽️😬
In our defense, we didn’t want to go all-in on supplies and end up eating leftovers until next winter if only a handful of folks came. Instead, we got the opposite problem—and honestly, that’s a pretty great problem to have.
We seriously can’t thank you enough for the incredible support:
👉 About 150 of you stopped by yesterday
👉 And somewhere between 400–500 today 🤯
You all kept us running, smiling, and apparently… plate-less.
Because of this wild (and amazing) turnout, we’ll be closing after tomorrow until more snow flies. As always, if we get enough to groom the trails, we’ll fire things back up—so keep an eye on the page for updates.
Thanks again for showing up, showing love, and eating us out of house and home. You’re the best. ❤️

Important Update for the Weekend

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our kitchen will be closed for the remainder of the weekend.

That said — we’re still open and hoping to see you.

🍻 The bar is open and flowing
⛽ Fuel is available
🛒 Store
And watch the forecast, we aren’t done yet…
Come out for a ride, stop in, and say hello. We appreciate the support and look forward to seeing you all.

We said we weren’t done yet… turns out winter wasn’t either 😅❄️

We just got dumped on with 12–20” of fresh snow, so guess what… we’re BACK OUT GROOMING and all our trails are OPEN again! 🙌
We’ll be open this week from 10am–4pm for fuel, the store, and all your snack emergencies. (Kitchen & bar are taking a little nap on Thursday 🍔🍻💤)
Thinking about sneaking in one last ride? We’ve got rooms available—because nothing says “great weekend” like fresh powder and zero regrets.
Not sure what other clubs are doing, but we ARE out there making magic happen. Our road is in good shape—just take it slow and you’ll roll in like a pro 🚗💨

Shoot us a message if you want to lock in a room… winter’s not over ‘til we say it is 😉

✨-Last night history was made in the Northwoods!!!.
————————————————————————————
Finally, after years….. we knocked off what had seemed like an unattainable milestone we’ve been trying to crush for the last 21 years .

After too many seasons of seeing the useless political drama between surrounding clubs, petty arguments, recognition battles, and all the wasted time, money, and effort—we were 100% convinced this was impossible.

But let me tell you—we are 100% stoked that we were proven wrong! 😆

For the first time in history, nearly all of the area’s groomer operators, trail masters, and board members came together under one roof in unity. They prioritized a chance to celebrate each other and every other person who had a hand in shaping the trails this year. And man, this year—it surely wasn’t just one club. This success came from every team, every individual, and every person who absolutely crushed it. The entire region, as a whole, was the best it’s ever been.

From our family’s perspective, after seeing it all come together, we see last night’s gathering as a true milestone for the entire region.

We had strong representation from Rockwood’s Blue Ridge Riders, The Birches, Northeast Carry, Jackman’s team from Border Riders and Long Pond Grooming, and the new operator near Kineo/Kokadjo—Mickey and his right-hand man, Spencer.

We also want to recognize the families and supporters who came out to show appreciation. While the night was for the operators who put their hands on the trails, the families sacrificing time with them deserve recognition too. And to the clubs who couldn’t make it, we thank you as well.

And one last thing I want to say as clearly as I can…

Keep your eye on this area over the next few seasons—because with this newly unified and driven team, the growth you’re about to see is just the beginning.

ONE REGION, WITH ONE COMMON GOAL:

—TOO CREATE THE VERY BEST RECREATIONAL TRAIL NETWORK IN THE STATE OF MAINE.!! 🫡😎

***Well that was a nice surprise****

A few inches of new snow today here. More over towards Seboomook Campground and Northeast Carry.
We had around 100 sleds in today. Thank you everyone of you!
Not one single person complained about the riding or the trails. Everyone knows the snow depths are low but that doesn’t mean there isn’t some riding to be had.
Lots of off trail riding still available as well. The unplowed logging roads are in good shape to the north of us.
Our road isn’t on full spring conditions yet either. So feel free to trailer up.
As a reminder we are having a groomer appreciation dinner tomorrow night. And we will be staying open late for anyone that would like to stop in and say hi and thank you to those that kept you all riding this season.
Hope to see a lot of you tomorrow!!!

❄️ Spring Conditions have now hit the Big Woods 🌲

-The warmer weather has started to poke through and snow conditions around the region are thin. At the moment, the trails coming out of Jackman and Rockwood are not in good shape at all, so if you’re planning to ride up this weekend trailering up may be your best option. We have a few rideable miles once you get here on the NE Carry side of us.
If you do make the trip up, please use good judgment when parking and when riding off-trail so we can protect what snow we still have left.

We WILL be open this weekend for food, fuel, and the bar and we have a few rooms left for the weekend.
Friday & Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Sunday: 10 AM – 10 PM

!!-Sunday evening we’ll be hosting our Groomer Appreciation Dinner that starts around 4-4:30 and dinner is at 6pm. This is to recognize the crews who put in countless hours this winter making the trails happen. Make a reservation for dinner, or just swing up, grab a drink, and help us thank the people who kept the season going.

Looking forward to seeing everyone up here. 🍻❄️

❄️ -Behind every great trail is a groomer operator who spent the night making it happen.

-This year we’re bringing the region together to recognize them with a “Guys’ Smoker Dinner” and good stories and well maybe a cocktail.

-From The Forks, Jackman, Rockwood, Northeast Carry, and Kokadjo, our trail systems all connect — and so does the effort behind them.

Join us at Pittston Farm for the first ever Northwoods Trail Groomer Appreciation Dinner. Everyone is welcome, trail masters and groomer operators your dinner is on us.

A night to say thank you to the people who make winter happen. If you want to join us with a celebration, please write us here on this page or write to Shawn and put your reservation in that way. Come up and say thanks!

Just when you thought winter might be winding down… the forecast says hold my beer. ❄️❄️❄️

Yes, we’ve had some rain and warmer temperatures, but there is a lot of frost in the ground and many areas of our snowmobile trails are and will hold their base.
They’re calling for a LOT more snow later this week and continuing through next week. If Mother Nature delivers like they’re predicting, we’ll be sending both groomers back out and getting the trails in shape again as soon as possible. Winter clearly isn’t ready to leave yet!

Because of this, we will be CLOSED this week and will reopen Friday at 10 AM.
And a quick reminder — when we say closed, we truly mean closed. Not “walk around the building checking every door like it’s a game show” closed. 😅
Yes… that actually happened Friday. A snowmobiler tried every door until he found the back deck door unlocked, came inside, and used the restroom. We weren’t even around, two hours before we opened. Bold strategy… but let’s not make that a trend. 🤦‍♀️
So if the sign says closed, the doors are closed, and the lights are off… we promise we’re not playing hide and seek.
Now let’s all hope the forecast is right and we get one more big blast of snow! We aren’t ready to be done yet!!
And remember… if you find a door unlocked while we’re closed, it’s probably a mistake — not an invitation. 😉

🚜❄️ WE’RE GROOMING TONIGHT! ❄️🚜
The guys are out working their magic on the entire trail system tonight, getting everything dialed in to be the best it can be before the warm-up rolls in. If you’ve been waiting for a great ride… this is it.

Trail update from Shawn:
He’s heading toward Northeast Carry and grooming the Carry Brook Trail. His report:
👉 “Expect good to great riding conditions with a solid base. Just keep an eye out for the occasional loose ‘chicken heads’ or sugar snow. With the warmer temps we may start to see some rocks and sticks popping up on the trail.”
If you spot a rock or branch and can move it, please take 15 seconds to toss it off the trail. If it’s too big to move, mark it or send us a message so we can get it handled.
Little things like that go a long way toward keeping the trails safe for everyone. 👍
Meanwhile… Guy is working the Jackman/Rockwood side and reports the trails are in really good shape, with just two bare spots that are easy to get around.

⚠️ Heads up: This could be our last great weekend for a little while, so if you haven’t made plans yet… now’s the time. As always though….we are not giving up this early. Our groomers are NOT going to be put away. We will have our regular 10am to 4pm hours for this weekend and then we will reassess on Sunday and I will update everyone.

🏨 We still have rooms available for the weekend!
Send me a message and we’ll set one aside for you.
Get the sleds ready… it’s shaping up to be a great ride. ❄️

03/03/2026

It isn’t often we post twice in a night but Guy just sent me a video and I knew you’d want to hear from him exactly how the trails are.

Hope to see you all this week or this upcoming weekend!!!

I pulled off a jailbreak and sprung her (Linda Prime) for a couple more days!!! 😎❄️

If you’re out and about tomorrow, make sure you stop and say hi to my mom — she’ll be holding down the fort most of the day and would love to see some friendly faces!!

Trail update hot off the press: Even though Guy worked his magic grooming toward Jackman and Rockwood last night, he’s back out there again tonight chasing perfection. The man does not sleep — he just grooms. 🚜✨

We’ve still got a few rooms up for grabs!
With next week’s forecast looking a little “meh,” this might be your golden window to ride before we need more snow. Don’t let it be the one that got away!

Hope to see you all soon — let’s make some tracks! ❄️🙌
