For a local sweet fix, Sawyer's Maple Farm is our top choice. Try it in your coffee; they showed us last year and I loved it.

June 5th is the start of the Moosehead FAMily Village farmers market. If you have never been, you need to stop by. Lots of great vendors, baked goods, jams, fruits and vegetables, antiques, sea food, syrup and more.
Every Friday 3-6 pm.

This is a great stop. When traveling up to camp, we always stop at a different place in Monson. It's a great way to break up the trip.

Plan ahead and get yourself on a white water rafting trip. There are a lot of runs and the lunch stop while on the river is always my favorite part.
