Summer was great, but fall has our hearts! 🍂 Cozying up with a look back at last year’s autumn magic.

We are so ready for crisp mornings, dockside coffee dates, and watching the trees change color from every window.

We have a lot of photo-updating to do this year……expect plenty of spam featuring our new patio setup, co****le matchups, fire pit nights, and kayak adventures!

Ready or not, sweater weather, here we come! 🪵🔥🎃

One of my favorite things about driving up-to-camp is driving along Moosehead Lake from Greenville to Rockwood. It takes about 23 minutes. When you put it into perspective that you haven't even driven one-fifth of the way around the lake, you realize how large it is.

Located on the other side of Moosehead Lake, about an hour away, there is not much to do but take in the scenery, but isn't that the point? 🌊🏞️💚

Cornelia "Flyrod" Crosby, reels in a keeper "in the shadow of Mt. Kineo." Crosby was an avid outdoors sports-woman and the very first licensed Maine Guide in the state's history.

At World's End Part 11: The eastern United States isn't particularly remote, with one major exception: the North Maine Woods.

Covering 3.5 million acres of northern Maine, the North Maine Woods contain no towns, no paved roads, and virtually no permanent population.

Instead, it contains thousands of remote ponds and lakes, thousands of miles of river and streams, and a virtually endless sea of trees.

In short, it isn't just the most remote place in the eastern United States, but one of the most remote places in the entire country.

🍂 Signs of Autumn's Perfect Splendor 🍂

The early changing leaves dance and flutter in the breeze here in the Moosehead Lake Region. There's something magical about watching the first hints of autumn slowly paint our North Woods in shades of gold, orange and red.

Fall is on its way... and it is beautiful. 🍁🍂💛
