If you are suck at our house, I promise you aren’t getting charged for days you are stuck. This is stressful enough. If the PM charges you, let us know. I’ll get you refunded.

If you’re on here and need some basic supplies, I got some in the owners closets. Dm me.

Recent update

We are working with NCDOT and other partners to establish a safe way off Hatteras Island and ensure residents have access to essential supplies. Here are the latest updates:

Emergency ferry service between Stumpy Point and Rodanthe is being prepared. NCDOT will announce the start time and departure schedule tomorrow (September 27). Do not go to the ferry terminals until service is announced.

Hatteras Island is now under a State of Emergency due the loss of N.C. Highway 12 roadway access.

NCDOT plans to begin work on NC Hwy. 12 on September 27 (conditions permitting) to construct a temporary roadway at Pea Island. There is currently no timeline for restoring road access.

A Dare County information line will open tomorrow (September 27) at noon: 252-475-5655. Spanish translation is available.

We understand this situation is stressful, particularly for those who have been unable to leave the island. Please continue to monitor DareNC.gov/Storm and DriveNC.gov for official updates and instructions.

Two small upgrades this year. Light above hot tub for light when enjoying it in the evening. Outlet in pool area to charge electronics or run a Bluetooth speaker.
