On this Memorial Day weekend, we take pause & reflect on all the blessings we have.
We say THANK YOU to all the men & women who have given so selflessly to our country. Those who came home and those who did not...We are moved & grateful beyond words. We honor you.
To the families that have been through deployments, moved to new cities & had to start all over again. To the spouses making life milestones happen through a phone call or video chat...missing their loved ones and being strong for their children... we remember you also.
The sacrifices of a soldier reach far beyond themselves...
We honor you today.

We get to host a lot of fun people that stay as our guests here at The Welcome Inn. It's one of the many perks of running the Inn; meeting all you wonderful people!
However... there is no mistaking that the ladies of the house ( the henhouse of course ) are truly the real stars of the Inn.
I mean, we provide a pretty amazing place to stay; but let's be real... we don't lay eggs.
It's ok, no offense taken. We completely understand your partiality! 🥚🥚🥚🍳🍳🍳

When renovating The Welcome Inn, Dave and Jenny wanted to create a dream, English backyard for guests to enjoy. To bring their vision to life, they took this old structure and turn it into a smokehouse. Now, guests can walk through the beautiful backyard and enjoy a meal in this fun space.

When we started the renovation of Campo Sasso, our friends, Rebecca and Pierre, shared that they hoped to create an experience for guests in their beautiful Chianti countryside similar to our Welcome Inn experience here in the States. The renovation was extensive with many setbacks and hurdles - which was also similar to the Welcome Inn. ☺️
