Everyone has a why for choosing Arka, and we love hearing the stories behind the stay. ☀️

From why they’re visiting to what they love most about the property, these guys remind us what makes Arka so special. Good people, good vibes, and a little poolside time at Beaver Lake. 💙

Thanks for being part of the Arka story!

A little room tour, because it’s been way too long. 👀✨

Our three signature room colors, Green, Blue, and Terracotta, are scattered throughout the property, so you never quite know which one you’ll get.

But no matter the color, every room comes with the Arka essentials: comfortable beds, a kitchenette, and that classic mid-century-meets-modern Arka vibe.

Choose from King or Double Queen rooms, with pet-friendly rooms available too. 🐾

Your room is waiting. Come stay awhile. ✨

Book your stay at Arka Motel and make the most of these last beautiful summer nights.

Arka is proudly pet-friendly, because adventures are better with your best friend by your side 🐶

We want all of our guests to feel comfortable during their stay, including those with pet allergies, so we have four designated pet-friendly rooms. These rooms tend to book in advance, so if you’re bringing your pup along, be sure to reserve a pet-friendly room when booking at arkamotel.com!

And if your four-legged travel buddy needs to stock up on treats, toys, food, leashes, or anything else for their Beaver Lake adventure, be sure to stop by our friends at Woof & Wander in downtown Rogers. They have an incredible selection and are a must-visit for any pet parent. 🐾

A weekend at the lake is even better with your best friend by your side. 🐾❤️

A neighbor stopped by recently and shared this incredible piece of local history: a Prairie Creek postcard from the 1960s featuring the original motel, then known as Prairie Creek Motel ✨

Seeing this postcard was a reminder that this property has been part of the Beaver Lake community for generations. Long before it became Arka, travelers, boaters, anglers, and families were making memories here.

When we renovated the property, preserving that history was important to us. While the motel received a complete transformation, we wanted to keep its mid-century roots and character alive. Our goal was to create a space that feels fresh and modern while honoring the story of the original motel and the people who have visited it over the years.

It's amazing to see how much has changed, and how much has stayed the same.

Do you remember the original Prairie Creek Motel? We'd love to hear your memories in the comments.

Our lake and mountain scape mural is the first thing you see when you arrive, setting the tone for your stay from the very beginning. Inspired by the beauty of Beaver Lake and the surrounding Ozark hills, it’s a reflection of everything we love about this place ✨

The vision for Arka was brought to life by & Jenny Marrs on HGTV’s Fixer to Fabulous. The mural was beautifully painted by Paige Dirksen, with branding done by Kayla Dzambo Design, and photo by Mike Davello.

Come see it for yourself and book your stay at arkamotel.com.
Enjoy 10% off with code SPRING10, valid through June 30.
