The Apache Lake Recreation Area is open! Thank you for your patience and understanding while Arizona Department of Transportation and Tonto engineering staff work together to address damage caused from the recent storms. Please travel with caution as there are still crews out there working.

Great News! The Apache Trail will be reopening today at 3pm. We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend. We did have some rooms open up this weekend as we were waiting so if you want a room. Please book online or call us at 928-923-6690.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTICE – APACHE TRAIL (HIGHWAY 88) TEMPORARILY CLOSED

The Apache Trail (State Route 88) has been temporarily closed by the U.S. Forest Service, ADOT, and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office due to roadway safety concerns.

Because there is currently no public access to Apache Lake Marina & Resort by vehicle, guests with reservations during the closure will be contacted directly by our team to discuss their reservation options.

The safety of our guests, employees, and the traveling public is our highest priority, and we are fully cooperating with all agency directives.

We understand how disappointing this is for everyone who had planned to visit Apache Lake this weekend. We appreciate your patience and understanding as the responsible agencies evaluate the roadway and determine when it can safely reopen.

We will continue to post updates here on Facebook, Instagram, and our website as soon as official information becomes available.

Thank you for your continued support of Apache Lake Marina & Resort. We look forward to welcoming everyone back as soon as the Apache Trail safely reopens.
