We want to share a frustrating experience we recently had with Expedia.

A guest booked and completed a stay at Bell sister Flats through Expedia, but the booking was accepted without a CVV number. The guest could not be contacted to resolve the issue.

Despite the stay being completed and this issue being outside of our control, Expedia has refused to pay us for this stay. We still had unavoidable cleaning and servicing costs, leaving our small business out even more money.

after reviewing Expedia partner central feedback, it’s clear that this is not an isolated issue for hosts. At a certain point, enough is enough. Small businesses deserve better, accountability and support.

At Bell Sister Flats, we recognize that the winter months can bring added financial strain for many individuals and families. In response, we’ve adjusted our rates for the season to provide more accessible options for our guests.

New Winter Rates:
• Minnie: $199/night
• Mineta: $219/night
• Plus a $70 cleaning fee and applicable taxes

We hope these updated rates make planning your stay a little easier during this time of year. Thank you for your continued support.
