Snowy days are “extra lazy” days at the Lazy J! 😉 ❄️

For all the wonderful people concerned and checking in on us - Everyone is ok and safe! The campground did substain some flood damage but we are blessed that there was no major damage and all is fixable.

The campground will be closed to reservations and overnight camping for the next few weeks as we work hard to clean up. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding.

We hope all others affected continue to get help and stay safe during this difficult time! Our thought and prayers are with all the families who have it much worse than we do.

Courthouse falls is just one of many beautiful waterfalls near our campground! We are extremely lucky to live in Transylvania County - The Land Of The Waterfalls.

Being centrally located around so many beautiful waterfalls is a blessing!

Our campground host decided the bathhouse could wait no longer and boy day was she right! The bathhouse looks much better now with its new paint!

Now we just need to replace the doors…. How long can we be lazy on that one before our host decides she’s done waiting?😉

It’s a little past due for us to get our lazy butts in gear and start making some new picnic tables but boy oh boy do they look good!

Don’t expect the new ones to get made super fast though, we are called the Lazy J for a reason! 😉

‼️Please read‼️

As many of you of may already know we had a mandatory evacuation yesterday evening due to extreme flash flooding. As of this morning the camping ground has opened back up.

We are now open at the time but due to the flooding we are not allowing any campers in besides those who already have previous reservations.

Many sites are closed so please be patient as we are working to clean/clear them. Due to this we will have a limited number of sites this entire week and will have to shuffle current reservations so we will not be taking new ones.

We will be back to normal next weekend for reservations and camping. We apologize for the inconvenience.

These gloomy and rainy days have us dying to get out of the office every chance the rain slacks off!

We hope you enjoy a few quick pictures taken while walking around in the last rain break. Now we are back in hiding as the rain is back! 🌧 ☔️
