Founders Paige and Smoot Hull repurposed their own life, transitioning from metropolitan living and the hustle of corporate business when they found reprieve in the quiet charm of Round Top, TX. Seeking a haven for their family to connect to each other and their surroundings, the Vintage Round Top was renovated in 2011 with reclaimed wood, custom light fixtures, and one-of-a-kind vintage finds. The 2,400 square foot home is now a vacation rental, sleeping up to 6 guests. Today, guests can shop where they sleep! Dolly Parton was a woman to admire - yes, for her incredible talent, but even more for her kindness, confidence, humor, cheerfulness, entrepreneurial spirit, generosity, and the deep love she so freely gave to the world.

She will be missed. Rest in peace, Dolly.

One of my favorite things about Round Top is there’s always something new to discover - and sometimes, the best discoveries happen around the table.

Round Top Restaurant Weeks wraps up next weekend on August 31, and it’s the perfect opportunity to pair our 25% summer lodging special with a delicious lineup of local restaurants, bakeries, and wine bars - all while supporting a good cause. The Round Top Fourth of July parade is this coming weekend - and we have one last cottage available to make your home away from home!

The parade was the catalyst for everything we’ve built here. The first one we attended brought happy tears and sparked my dream of building a business where our kids could experience the charm of a this sweet, small-town.

It’s Americana at it’s finest and stirs the soul.

Proud parent post: Two years ago, our oldest surprised us when she announced that she was heading back to school to pursue her master’s degree in urban planning. We had the joy of watching her cross the stage at Harvard last week to receive that diploma. As if that wasn’t enough, she was also awarded the Most Outstanding Achievement Award for her graduating class.

She’s always been driven, incredibly hardworking, and determined. We’re proud of her accomplishments, but mostly who she is as a person. Congratulations, Cam. We love you, admire you, and are excited for this next step in your journey. ❤️
