and a little reminder that Bellfire is run by real people—just us, Rich and Mina

we built this place by hand, slowly, with the hope of sharing something that’s meant a lot to us

time outside

a chance to reset

there are only 4 camps here, each with its own feel, and while we’re only open seasonally, this land is something we care for all year long

we’ve been lucky to meet so many kind people along the way—some of you have come back year after year, and that really means everything to us

I read something recently that stayed with me. According to a study shared by The Guardian, our connection to nature has declined by more than 60% over the past 200 years.
Not because nature is gone, but because we’ve slowly stopped engaging with it.Less time outside, more time on screens, fewer everyday moments in the wild. They call it “the extinction of experience.”
and yet…
Every time someone arrives here, it comes back almost instantly. Like the body remembers before the mind does. It is one of those gifts that we get from Bellfire that is hard to put into words.
