🔥 A FRIENDLY CAMPGROUND PSA… WITH A LITTLE SASS 🔥
Dear Campers,
We have an important scientific discovery to share with everyone today:
METAL. DOES. NOT. BURN. 😂
Apparently, someone needed to test this theory because we found a fire ring full of half-burned pop cans, b**r cans, and other trash. Spoiler alert: the cans did not magically disappear. They just got hot, melted, and left a lovely mess behind. 🤦‍♀️
🔥 Please remember that burning trash is not good for the environment, and nobody wants to sit around a fire — or cook over one — surrounded by melted cans and garbage.
🏕️ When you pack up, take a quick look around your site and leave it better than you found it.
🗑️ Trash belongs in the trash.
🔥 Firewood belongs in the fire.
🥫 Aluminum cans belong in the recycling/trash — NOT the campfire.
And if you're thinking, “Well, the fire will burn it eventually…”
No. Karen. It will not. 😂
We love our campers, and we know the vast majority of you do an awesome job taking care of your sites. ❤️ But let's keep Silver Canoe clean, safe, and enjoyable for the next camper who comes along.
