Dear Park Residents and Guests,
Thank you all so much for your cooperation and understanding as we have been improving things around the park.
Our first big project, the pool, pretty much went according to schedule. I hope you have found some time to relax and enjoy the new “look and feel” of the pool.
Next we moved on to refreshing the look of the office and clubroom by some painting and decor changes. But the pool table is no longer cluttered and things are back in operating order.
Just this week the well pump was replaced. That was not a scheduled improvement but one that had to be taken care of promptly. As you know the Health Department has us on a “Precautionary Boil Alert”. We will advise you when that Boil Alert is rescinded.
We have been trying to get with the recycling program. Our waste hauler, Waste Management, has gone to single stream recycling so we now have one dumpster for recycling only and one dumpster for waste only. If you are unsure of what is recyclable and what is not, please see the office or the information board in the clubroom. We cannot put electronics, furniture, hazardous products, clothes, batteries, propane dispensers, yard waste etc. in either dumpster. Check with the office to find out where you need to take those items.
We are scheduled to start a full remodel of both restrooms and the laundry room. At this time both restrooms will be completely shut down beginning Tuesday, October 15, 2013. We are not sure at this time when the Laundry Room will shut down. It is anticipated the project will be completed by November 1, 2013. We will have two portable potties (one for women and one for men) available for your use during construction. We are also having new washer and dryers put in the Laundry Room.
You will also notice construction going on at the boat docks on the river. 18 pilings are in need of replacement.
And our last project to be completed by November 1, 2013 is adding a propane dispensing unit to the north of the Clubroom Building. We will be filling tanks and also have an option for those of you who have tanks that cannot be removed from your unit.
So you can see, it will be really busy around here the next few weeks.
Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we make Tampa South RV Resort an even better place to stay!
Sunny regards,
Tammy
