Our amazing campground manager, David, has just come out of back surgery. We’re happy to share that everything went well! 💪

Calling all campground kiddos **13 and under** —
🎨 Bring your creativity and decorate those golf carts in your best patriotic style!

📍 **Parade starts in front of the pavilion** at 11:15 AM
🏁 **Judging will be at the flagpole immediately after**
🎉 **Winners announced after the meal**

🎆 4th of July Weekend Raffle at Wa-Ni Village Resort! 🇺🇸

📅 Happening Saturday, July 5th

We’re hosting a special raffle during our Independence Day celebration to help support our campground family — Josh and Tara Charles. Their baby was born prematurely (weighing less than 1 pound) and is currently in Lexington Hospital. They’re hoping to come home soon, and we want to show them how much love surrounds them here at Wa-Ni. 💕

🎁 Check out this handcrafted wooden music box donated by Mickey’s uncle, Danny Hoagland. It’s beautifully made and engraved with a cross and crown of thorns on the outside, and inside features this touching scripture:

“A new commandment I give to you:
Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

🎉 Independence Day Celebration at Wa-Ni Village Resort! 🎉

Campers join us Saturday, July 5th for a fun-filled day of patriotic celebration right here at the campground! Here's what we have planned:

🛺 11:15 AM – Golf Cart Parade
Line up at the flagpole to kick off our annual parade!

🎨 Prizes for Best Decorated Golf Carts will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place – for children 13 and under staying in the campground. Winners will be announced after the meal!

🍔 12:30 PM – Community Meal at the Pavilion
We'll be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and barbecue. Feel free to bring a side dish or dessert to share!

🎵 6:00 PM – Live Music
Enjoy an evening concert at the pavilion featuring Buford Watson & the Southern Scars Band!

🎁 Music Box Raffle – All Day Saturday Morning
Stop by the pavilion to donate and enter to win a beautiful handcrafted music box, generously made and donated by Mickey’s uncle.
All proceeds go to fellow campers Josh and Tara Charles, who are still at Lexington Hospital with their premature baby. Let’s show them some love and support ❤️

🎆 At Dark – Fireworks Show!
Cap off the night with a spectacular fireworks display below the flagpole at the shoreline, led by Randy Myers and Billy Brown.

Let’s come together as a campground community and celebrate Independence Day the Wa-Ni Village way – with fun, food, music, and heart. 💥
