We have had a lot of ice this storm, this has added a lot of weight to the boathouses.
The two boathouses that sustained damage out off of Northpoint were already evacuated back from the flood.
We are actually working to schedule demolition of those two docks already.
We are praying that the weight doesn’t damage the other docks too much. We know that there are some other marinas around the lake that have suffered collapse.
We are praying that all parties involved don’t suffer too much damage and we the ice will start to melt so we can do our assessments.
Thanks

We hope everyone has a Happy and Safe 4th of July!
The team was able to get a lot done in a short amount of time.
Thank you to everyone that helped get us back up and operational.

06/29/2025

The team worked extremely hard this week to get as much done as possible.
We had the electricians out and they got all of Main Camp back up and running. We also got the pedestals and water spigots cleaned up.

We have rock getting delivered this week to grade around the property.

Unfortunately we do not have the time to get the cabins back up and running before the holiday.

The store remains closed due to the flood waters that came into the building, we have started clean up but we still don’t have final approval on funds from the insurance company. With that being said that means we will not have Ice available nor will we have Fuel so please keep that in mind.

They worked on getting the walkways back to being functional this week for the boat docks as well as getting power restored.

They are still moving mobile homes around, we should have South Park back open as long as everything is out of the way and electrical and plumbing is good.

The boat ramp should also be good to go.

We will keep y’all posted throughout the week.

Update
We have guys that will be up at the park all week working on store, cabins, walkways and clean up.

06/19/2025

Good evening everyone sorry for the delay. We have been patiently waiting on the water to recede.
We are actively working on clean up of the store so that we can have an office back open on site. The downstairs part of the store is going to take some time which we are actively working on.
We still have a ways to go to get the water back to normal level so that we can get the walk ways to the boathouses back up and operational along with power.
We are not positive as of yet about having all the Rv sites back up for July 4th.

As you likely are aware quite a bit of our annual operating funds come from the summer months and especially holiday weekends. We already missed one holiday and do not want to miss another.

We are praying that the rain has passed for a while so that we can get back to some normalcy and get things cleaned and fixed up.

We are also working with our insurance providers to get some funds back for repairs however we do have some hefty deductibles due to the park being in a flood zone.

Please continue to be patient with us and we will do our best to provide more updates weekly as we know more.

Thank you

05/21/2025

As of right now we are expecting to have the water drop below the store by Friday this week.
At which point we will begin assessments on damages and cleaning up.

Unfortunately due to the water levels there is not much we can do about the holiday weekend.
We are going to start working on cleaning up to be ready for the 4th of July.

Anyone that wants to help with cleaning up of debris please reach out to Carla or Rodney.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
