🦐 TBL ANNUAL DICK WHALEN SHRIMP BOIL — WHAT A DAY! 🦐

Yesterday, Tampa Bay Lodge No. 252 held our annual Dick Whalen Shrimp Boil, and despite Mother Nature trying to make things interesting, we had a fantastic turnout! Great food, plenty of fellowship, and wonderful company made it a day to remember. 💙💛

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event a success!

👨‍🍳 To our morning crew and cooks: Special thanks to R:.W:. Mike Rhodes, John Drewit, and Al Norwich for getting up early, putting in the work, and preparing that delicious shrimp we all enjoyed!

🌈 A special TBL thank-you to Michaila, Sister of Hope of Rainbow Girls, Largo Assembly #86 and Grand Choir Director of IORG for all her help this morning. Your time and willingness to lend a hand are truly appreciated!

🔨 To our Junior Warden: Thank you for all the hard work and legwork that went into this event, especially Friday's preparations and making sure the Lodge was ready in case the weather took a turn for the worse. That kind of dedication doesn't go unnoticed!

🏛️ To Bro. Charles: Thank you for helping prepare the Lodge room and making sure we were ready for the day.

It was also wonderful to see so many friends come out, enjoy the fellowship, and even have some of our candidates stop by! Events like this remind us that Masonry is about more than meetings—it's about brotherhood, community, and the friendships we build along the way.

🌍 We were also honored by a special visit from G.M. Ciro Gallo of the Grand Lodge of Italy in Catania! Thank you for joining us and sharing in the fellowship of the day.

To everyone who came out, volunteered, cooked, prepared, served, and supported our Lodge: THANK YOU! You are what makes Tampa Bay Lodge No. 252 The Friendliest Lodge on Old Tampa Bay.

What a fantastic day for Tampa Bay Lodge! The morning began with wonderful fellowship and refreshments before our SW, Bro. Gerry McCune, sitting in the East, opened Lodge with an impressive 42 Masons in attendance!

During the meeting, we heard a Fellowcraft proficiency, which was accepted by vote, and had the honor of raising four Brothers to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason!

Our degree team was phenomenal throughout both parts of the degree, with many Brothers stepping into their respective roles for the very first time. Their dedication, preparation, and teamwork made for a truly memorable experience.

We were also honored to have High Twelve International present our newly raised Master Masons with Honorary Memberships.

The fellowship continued afterward at American Legion Post 238, sponsored by Tampa Bay High Twelve Chapter 792, bringing Brothers together for even more camaraderie and celebration.

A heartfelt thank you to all the Brothers who traveled near and far to support Tampa Bay Lodge and our newly raised Brothers. Your presence and support embody the true spirit of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

Tampa Bay Lodge No. 252 warmly invites you to join us for a Master Mason Degree on Saturday, October 3rd.

☕ Light refreshments and coffee will be served beginning at 7:30 AM, providing a wonderful opportunity to enjoy fellowship before the day's work begins.

🔨 Gavel Sounds at 9:00 AM.

We encourage all Master Masons to attend and lend your support—especially ALL newly raised Master Masons. There are few moments in a Mason's journey as meaningful as witnessing a Brother receive the Sublime Degree of Master Mason and no better way to strengthen your understanding of the Craft than by witnessing the beautiful lessons of the Master Mason Degree and standing beside your Brothers as they receive the Light.

Come share in the fellowship, enjoy a cup of coffee, welcome our candidates, and help make this a memorable day for them.
