September on St. Albans Bay might be one of our favorite times of year. 🍂🌊

Come enjoy the quieter side of Lake Champlain before the season comes to an end. 🐨

September dates are still available at Lakehouse on the Bluff — and right down the road at our sister property, Champlain Cove Retreat!

September might just be Lake Champlain’s best-kept secret. 🍂🌊

The summer crowds begin to fade. The lake gets a little quieter. The evenings get a little cooler. And there’s still plenty of time to enjoy Vermont before the season comes to an end.

Whether you prefer waking up right on the water at Champlain Cove Retreat or relaxing above St. Albans Bay at Lakehouse on the Bluff, September dates are available at both Koala Escape St. Albans properties. 🐨

Two different Vermont stays.
One beautiful time of year.

Meanwhile, down the shoreline...

Lake Champlain is showing off again. 🌅

One of the best parts of being on the lake is that every evening brings a different view.

Nothing like enjoying a drink and taking in a Lake Champlain sunset after a productive day at the Cove. 🌅🍺

Today's accomplishment? A new hot water heater and water flowing once again. Sometimes it's the behind-the-scenes projects that help make a relaxing getaway possible.

As the sun sets over the lake, it's nice to take a moment and appreciate the view.

Vermont summers at the Bluff are officially underway 🌊🔥🍔

Sometimes the best memories are the simple ones.

After the first few days of opening the camp for the season… sometimes you need to stop for a minute and remember WHY you do it. 🤣😂🌊

Burgers on the grill.
A nice cold Modelo.
Lake Champlain.
And finally a chance to enjoy the view for five minutes. 🔥🍔🍺

The time and work it takes to get the Bluff ready every year is always worth it once moments like this hit.

Current status: Mentally unavailable until further notice 🤣😂🌊

“The Canadian goose can often be heard expressing its opinions across Lake Champlain after dark…” 🪿🤣
