The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center tells more than 450 years of the African American story in St. Augustine, from the city's early Black history through the Civil Rights Movement and beyond. The museum itself is housed in the historic Excelsior School Building, St. Johns County's first public Black high school.

With the purchase of an Old Town Trolley Tours ticket, you can take the Beach Bus into town. The pickup at our sister hotel, La Fiesta Ocean Inn & Suites, is just a three-minute walk away.

Once aboard the trolley, you can see a lot of St. Augustine in a relatively short amount of time, hopping off along the way to visit museums, historic sites, shops, restaurants, and anything else that catches your attention. You’ll also get a good look at the city as you ride, which may introduce you to places you’ll want to come back and explore more in depth.
