A few hours at the Lightner Museum, can take you straight into St. Augustine’s Gilded Age.

Located downstairs in the Beach House, this spacious two-room king suite has its own private exterior entrance, a separate sitting area, dining area, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

Its tropical Tommy Bahama-style décor and dune and garden views create a comfortable retreat just steps from the oceanfront. Surfside is also only about 20 feet from the pool and Jacuzzi, with access to the second-floor great room and oceanfront verandah until 8:00 p.m.

Getting from Beachfront Bed & Breakfast to downtown St. Augustine — and plenty of stops along the way — just got easier. And it’s free!

As of October 1st, the City of St. Augustine’s free STAR Circulator now serves St. Augustine Beach, with a stop at La Fiesta Ocean Inn & Suites, just a three-minute walk from Beachfront Bed & Breakfast.

The route connects the beach with downtown St. Augustine and the Visitor Information Center, with stops at other points of interest along the way and service approximately every 30 minutes.

And this isn’t just for Nights of Lights. The expanded route operates daily, with service from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Leave the car behind, take a short walk to the STAR stop, and use the free circulator to explore more of St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach.
