Fun Fact: The Portugueses Man-o-War is highly painful if touched, but did you know? They are actually NOT jellyfish but rather π‘ π‘–π‘β„Žπ‘œπ‘›π‘œπ‘β„Žπ‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘’π‘  - which are basically a bunch of highly specialized interdependent organisms called zooids that all work together to make one very pretty, very spicy beach empanada. Pretty in pink this morning πŸ’— PLUS, those are sea turtle tracks in the second photo! These are evidence of a potential "false crawl," meaning the sea turtle came ashore but didn't find a good spot for a nest - but if she did find a good spot, we'll have another nest marked on our beach soon.
