This is the entrance to the Fountain of Youth… and one of the most photographed streets in St. Augustine. Magnolia Avenue’s massive oak canopy has been welcoming visitors for generations, and it’s only 2 miles from the Saint Augustine Beach House. One more reason we love being tucked away on Vilano Beach while still being so close to the city’s most iconic sights!

Hop over the Vilano Bridge and treat yourself to Odd Birds Café, one of our favorite local spots for breakfast, lunch, coffee, and fresh baked goodies.

On our latest visit, we grabbed their Cuban sandwich with mojo-seasoned pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and Malbec mustard on pressed Cuban bread, then headed straight for the beach.

Because honestly, everything tastes a little better with an ocean view. 🌊

Forty years of marriage. ❤️

Michael and his wife recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with us on Vilano Beach, alongside their sweet boxer dog, and we couldn’t be more honored that they chose St. Augustine Beach House for such a special occasion.

Between the oceanfront views, breakfast delivered right to their room, long walks on the beach, and plenty of time spent soaking in the sunshine together, it sounds like they created the kind of memories that last a lifetime.

One of the nice things about staying in Vilano Beach is that there are several public beach access points nearby, each with its own little view of the coastline.

South Ponte Vedra Beachfront Park is just a short drive north of the Saint Augustine Beach House along scenic A1A. It’s a simple beach access spot with easy parking, direct beach access, and a quieter stretch of shoreline that’s especially beautiful in the morning and late afternoon light.

If you feel like taking a drive up the coast during your stay, it’s a peaceful little stop to add along the way.
