Looking for something a little strange while you’re in St. Augustine? 👀

Ripley's Believe It or Not! in downtown St. Augustine is the first permanent Ripley’s museum in the world, open since 1950. It’s housed inside Castle Warden, a striking 1887 Moorish Revival mansion that was originally built as a winter home before later becoming a hotel.

It’s only a few miles from the Beach House, and getting there is easy. Our complimentary Uber downtown drops guests at Potter’s Wax Museum, and from there Ripley’s is just about a block away.

So you can spend the morning by the ocean, head downtown for a little weird St. Augustine history, and be back in Vilano before you know it!

“The love for the dogs was real.” 🐾

Kathleen recently stayed with us for a birthday getaway and left such a thoughtful review about her time at the Beach House.
