Such a special surprise to arrive late at Anchors Aweigh after 4 amazing, but exhausting, days at Disney to these goodies from our last guests! Our sweet friends enjoyed a beach vacay and their first trip to St. Augustine right before we came. We absolutely LOVE sharing our favorite place with people we love!! It’s the best to hear about their adventures and all their yummy meals! Looking forward to hosting our friends again next spring- they have already secured their dates to come back 🗓️! Thank you Peter, Angie, and girls for the very thoughtful and unexpected gift!!! 🎁🍷💐

St. Augustine is such a fun place for a girls trip!!! My sister-in-laws are a hoot and a half, and we always have a big time together! I loved showing them around our favorite place, and it was awesome to catch the end of Nights of Lights! A post-holiday January girls trip was a great way to enjoy some R & R after the holiday craziness! We ate delicious meals, enjoyed some spa time, shopped and explored downtown, relaxed and read on the beach, went on walks, played games (and the crazy ones puzzled until 3 am 🤪), and got into all sorts of silly shenanigans! Love them so! Come stay at Anchors Aweigh or Portside for your next girls trip!! I have tons of ideas to share, and we couldn’t even fit it all in this trip! ✨🛍️🧩🏝️📚

Who’s ready for a good before and after?!?!
We just replaced both balconies with Trex flooring, and I’m loving the upgrade!!! The master balcony had old outdoor carpet that had holes and was impossible to keep clean. Oh, and the furniture was uncomfortable and getting rusty, so we bought a new cafe table with cushioned chairs that swivel! The 2nd bedroom balcony had worn out wood decking that needing replacing, and now looks awesome with the Trex! Thanks to Martin and his crew, they were able to do each balcony on a changeover day between renters- a tough job!! We are thankful to be booked solid and wanted the new balconies done for our summer guests! 👏🏼💙

In light of announcing they are moving from the downtown location to the St. Augustine Beach area, I wanted help them celebrate their almost 15 years of success!

Everything about my lunch experience with the girls on the patio was perfection!! From the landscaping and flower arrangements on the tables to the live music playing to the incredible menu with fresh ingredients, we were all impressed! The Floridian is known for their farm-to-table ingredients showcasing local growers. I honestly wanted to order just about every dish on the menu, and the shrimp and grits certainly did not disappoint!

While I will miss their quaint downtown spot, I can’t wait to have them on Anastasia Island much closer to !

I had the absolute joy and privilege of hosting my sister-in-law’s at our place for a long weekend this winter! We had the best time and shared lots of laughter, relaxation, beach walks, a morning at the spa, and of course, delicious food!!! We celebrated ’s 50th and my belated 40th birthdays and just had great time being together kidless and husbandless ha!

Attention especially to my friends in Oak Ridge, Maryville, Alcoa, Loudon, and Lenoir City schools- Anchors Aweigh is now open for your SPRING BREAK the week of March 10-14!!! This is a super rare opening just about a month away!

We had a guest need to reschedule their 2 week booking 3/1-3/14 until next fall due to a medical emergency. They normally would have still had to pay half, but thankfully, we were able to get Vrbo to grant them a full refund due to the circumstances. However, now have a 2 week gap the first 2 weeks of March if anyone wants to enjoy an awesome beach trip to the lovely St. Augustine!

We would LOVE to take care of you with a direct booking! We are doing close to 1/2 direct bookings now, and that is only growing which saves guests a ton of money!! If you’re at all interested, let me know! You won’t regret it!!!

Nestled under St. Augustine’s famous historic Cedar tree, the Spanish Bakery & Café serves fresh food like empanadas, soups, pastries, picadillo, and sandwiches made fresh daily with old Florida recipes.
