We love coming here for the soft serve and relaxing in the adorable outdoor courtyard. Grab your ice cream, find a spot outside, and enjoy the St. Augustine vibes. 🌴✨

And the best part? They have special flavors every day, so there’s always something new to try. 🍪🍦Danny loved the pineapple cake yesterday, while Andrea went with a classic chocolate-vanilla swirl with Oreos topping. YUM 😋

Definitely one of our go-to sweet spots whenever we’re downtown. 🫶🏼

🌟Meet the owners behind Ancient City Hideaways!🌟

Danny and Andrea Brown are the husband-and-wife team behind the growing hospitality company that started with one vacation rental and a simple idea: provide guests with a stay they’ll never forget. ❤️

Danny is a St. Augustine local with a background in electrical engineering, while Andrea moved to the Ancient City from St. Louis in 2015. With Andrea’s background in hospitality and customer service, the two brought together very different skill sets that turned out to be the perfect combination.

In 2016, they took a leap and invested in their first vacation rental. Not long after, a neighbor asked them to manage their property as well- and from there, Ancient City Hideaways grew organically, one happy owner and guest at a time. Today, they proudly manage nearly 120 vacation rentals throughout the area.

But behind the business are two people who are just as passionate about their family and their community. Danny and Andrea are parents to two boys, Roman and Lincoln, and when they’re not working, you’ll most likely find the Brown family near the water. Whether it’s a Sunday boat ride to Salt Run, a beach day in Crescent Beach, or hanging out together by their pool, that time as a family is what matters most. 🌊☀️

What started as one investment in 2016 has grown into a business they’re incredibly proud of—but at the heart of it all, it’s still about family, relationships, and creating memorable experiences in the place they love to call home.
